From July 2006 Mr. Rainer Decker has joined Altair Systems as third CEO. Mr. Decker (44) has a masters degreee in informatics and is now responsible CEO for the Sales and Marketing department of Altair Systems both for products and software services. Mr. Decker has held similar positions for more than the past 15 years. For the last 6 years he has been CEO of several companies of the Bertelsmann AG, amongst which arvato systems Technologies GmbH. Before that as a country manager he was for 8 years sole sales representative for Germany, Austria, Switzerland and East-Europa for the US company Gensym.
